Grammy Show Brings Out the Beauty With Pout Cosmetics. FASHIONTRIBES Beauty Buzz Blog

Grammy Style: Pout-ing All the Way.

Amy Yu managed to snag  a story for us about the Grammies and the "behind the scenes" events and who got what in the way of swag and gorge cosmetics!

What’s in a pout? Sexy girl power, that’s what. No wonder the aptly named Pout Cosmetics took the Grammy’s by storm this year. Showcased in beauty touch-ups and goodie bag galore, UK-based Pout took home the award for their "5 Minutes to Fabulous” look.

Allison McGinnis and Deb Svarc, key Pout Makeup Artists  at the Couch Nobelius suite for the Grammy’s,  showed celebs and media how to achieve that fabulous glow and radiance with only  3 to 5 Pout  products! As McGinnis described, “Our products are made for the average woman (mother, business woman, student) to use with no complications or major amount of time needed.”

Want that “5  Minutes to Fabulous” look to go from blah to beautiful in about 5 minutes? Here are Pout’s Top Five Products for creating a radiant new you:

1) After Glow-Illuminator ($30) is a translucent cream illuminator that gives your skin a healthy bronze glow. The cute packaging alone will brighten you up!

2) Wild Berries Flush Blush ($22) will have you blushing a natural dusty pink. Pout’s unique cream to powder formula leaves a sheer wash of color that can be layered for added intensity.

3) Bamboo Eyeslick ($22) is a cream to powder eye shadow that won’t crease or fade as the paparazzi light bulbs flash away. The color “Bamboo” offers a brown shimmer that’s smokin’ sexy.

4) Big Lash Black Mascara ($20) gives you volume, length, and curl all in one. Go ahead and bat those beautiful lashes with the best of ’em.

5) Pout Lip Plump ($24) is the best lip plumping gloss out there — not only does it act as plumping treatment for the lips, but it won’t dry out or irritate lips either. It’s also got a peppermint taste to boot!

If you’ve got more than five minutes to spare in front of the mirror, here are some more Pout favorites from the Grammy’s to check out:

Eye Want You Eye Pencil ($18) — Retractable black eye pencil with built-in smudger that helps you create sultry eyes.

Sun Kissed Bronzer ($26) – Shimmering light tan bronzer that leaves you looking sun-kissed (without the UV rays).

Horny Hilda Lip Polish ($16) — A vibrant bubblegum pink lip gloss that will leave the boys…well, let’s just say as hot and bothered as Hilda.

Foundation ($30) – Oil-free, super light foundation that doesn’t streak or cake, giving you a flawless look that lasts all day.

Mini Brush Set $40- Presented in a luxurious blueberry wallet, this set contains a Blusher Brush, a Small Eye Shadow Brush, a Blender Brush, a Fine Line Brush, and a Retractable Lip Brush. (available only at Henri Bendel: 212 247 1100)

The stars at the Grammy’s didn’t just get fabulous makeover: they got to take home goodie bags filled with more  fab Pout products: Lip Plump, Bustier Cream (a favorite product of most!), Eye Shadow Duo, and Blender Eye Shadow Brush. The Pussy Cat Dolls practically purred over the goodies, as did  Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, and Kate Bosworth along with their stylist, Jessica Paster.

Just in case you thought only celebs get the best goodies, think again. Lucky for you, Pout offers their uber-cute products at select stores in the States. The UK may have Madonna for now, but we get to Pout!

Pout products are available at select Victoria’s Secret stores, victoriassecret.com; Fred Segal Beauty, LA; select Sephora stores, Sephora.com; and select boutiques worldwide.
