Barry Reitman, Celebrity stylist to so many stars at Juan Juan Beauty Center gives us his tips on what products to use to keep your hair in STELLAR shape for summer!

Barry Reitman may not be a household name like some of the stylists in the big books but that’s because he is too busy doing celebrity hair and flying out to take care of royalty to be bothered with the press. His motto of "Award Winning Hair" is key to why celebs and A-list clients repeatedly come back to Barry for his expertise not only in cuts but also in color treatments.
Based at Juan Juan Beauty Center on Wilshire in Beverly Hills "Golden Triangle", Reitman’s book is never empty –unless he’s on vacation! Whe n he comes back, it’s jammed with people who want –and need– his expert attention to their hair. He’s a wonder at treating all types of hair for both men and women. He’s done remarkable things with my hair –and I have always been pleased with the cut or color or both. The topic for this blog is about taking care of your hair during the summer. While the weather maybe drenching rain where you are, in other areas of the country it’s scorching hot (like here in LA) and it’s sucking the life out of hair here. Despite the weather in your area– or the season– you always need to take some time to treat your hair to some deep conditioning to have your hair looking–and acting– its best.

Formulated with rose geranium essential oils, aloe vera and mint botanical and herbal extracts. this deep moisture treatment replenishes each hair strand as well as provides moisture balance to the scalp. Redken’s UV RESCUE family of products is something that Reitman highly recommends and truthfully–he’s right! He’s the pro and he’s not the first stylist to recommend these products to me.
