It's A SUITE LIFE PART II: Silver Spoon Is "Slammin' & Glammin" in the Hills–Beverly Hills! Fashiontribes LA Story Golden Globe SWAG Bag Podcasts & Blogs!!

Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffets aren’t new but they sure are fun! What a mix of amazing products and celebs from La Lohan (yes Lindsay!) to  Kathy Griffin (who I watched drag about 6 bags out the front door of the mansion to the valet!). It’s an  fun event with lots of different things to see!

The Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet creators pioneered the concept of a gift buffet, where guests select their own gifts, and are “Queens of swag – creators or all things cool in celebrity gifting,” according to E!.  The Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet is a relaxation destination for celebrities, stylists and media.  The buffet is held before major award shows as a way for talent to prepare and enjoy themselves.

However Silver Spoon took it up a notch requesting donations to RxArt which promotes healing through exposure to original fine art in patient, procedure and exam rooms of healthcare facilities.  The non-profit believes healing is optimally accomplished by the integration of spiritual well-being and the finest medical care.  RxArt recently completed a project at the NYU Child Study Center featuring a site-specific installation by Ryan McGinness, three large multi-part decals by Assume Vivid Astro Focus, and a video projection, “Jellyfish” by Dominik Lejman.

Golden Globe Buffet  guests included: Lindsay Lohan, Hayden Panettiere (“Heroes”), Lauren Conrad (“The Hills”), Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott (“Tori & Dean: Inn Love”), Greg Grunberg (“Heroes”), Rena Sofer (“Heroes”), Tawny Cypress (“Heroes”), William Mapother (“Lost”), Ken Davitian (Borat), Jennifer Finnigan (“Close to Home”), Jonathan Silverman (“In Case of Emergency”), Beverly Mitchell (“7th Heaven”), Janice Dickinson (“Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency”), Carrie Ann Inaba (“Dancing with the Stars”), Shawn Pyfrom (“Desperate Housewives”), Andy Dick (“The Reality Show”), Simon Rex (“Monarch Cove”), Mehcad Brooks (“Desperate Housewives”), Brenda Strong (“Desperate Housewives”), Shelley Morrison (“Will & Grace”), Randy Spelling (“Sons of Hollywood”), Sean Stewart (“Sons of Hollywood”), David Weintraub (“Sons of Hollywood”), Lauren German (Standing Still), Roger R. Cross (“24”), Louis Lombardi (“24”), Rex Lee (“Entourage”), Caroline D’Amore, Ali Landry (“Eve”), Tatyana Ali (“Fresh Prince of Bel Air”), Perrey Reeves (“Entourage”), Joy Lauren (“Desperate Housewives”), Samantha Harris (“Dancing with the Stars”), Benu Mabhena (Blood Diamond), Hal Sparks (“Queer as Folk”), Joseph Reitman (These Days), Marsha Thomason (“Las Vegas”), Olivia Wilde (“The O.C.”), Sarah Kozer (Ride or Die), Joanna Krupa (Ripple Effect), Kathy Hilton (“I Want to Be a Hilton”), Kevin Sorbo (“Andromeda”), Adrianne Curry (“My Fair Brady”), Phillip Bloch (“Style Me”), Bahar Soomekh (“Day Break”), Daveigh Chase (“Big Love”), Jennifer Crystal (“Once and Again”), McKenzie Westmore (“Passions”), Scottie Thompson (“NCIS”), Shaun Toub (Crash), Kathy Griffin (“The D-List”), Bai Ling (“Lost”), Ashley Jones (“Bold and the Beautiful”), Vanessa Lengies (“Monarch Cove”), Deidre Hall (“Days of Our Lives”), Courtney Peldon (“Boston Public”), Bobbi Sue Luther (Parental Guidance Suggested), Dania Ramirez (“X-Men: The Last Stand”), Kellan Lutz (“The Comeback”), Katee Sackhoff (“Battlestar Galactica”), Robert David Hall (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”), Paula Malcomson (“Deadwood”), Tiffany, Jason Davis, Kayla Ewell (“Bold and the Beautiful”), Victor Webster (“Mutant X”), Brittany Gastineau (“Gastineau Girls”), Thomas Balfour (pro skater) and Courteney Semel.

Trust me when I say there was definitely enough swag going around to handle all these people— and then the press and other friends of celebrities who were along for the joyful ride.

Beauty product companies included Mary Kay, Nioxin, Dermalogica — all very happy to hand out great gifts or sit down for more intensive discussion on personal care and treatment. HyperBarOX treatments from HANDS ON Spa were very relaxing. Luscious and fun was Kamasutra’s new Body Souffle in ice cream inspired flavors of vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and mint— the best part– it’s edible! Talking about edible, Expressive Fortunes is the cookie company that created the hand made  GIGANTIC fortune cookies (filled with other tiny dipped fortune cookies) that were used as the invitations to this Silver Spoon. The cookies were adorable and quite tasty!

Billion Dollar Brows provided Brow Grooming as well as micro-current treatments. (so loving this treatment. Definitely make an appointment for this treatment!)

Xtreme Lashes helped create thick, full dramatic lashes for the red carpet.  Fab lines like Principessa Beauty (*beautiful new packaging!) and Malibu Secrets Skincare were welcome treats to take home. Exclusive Aphrodisiac Lumar of Beverly Hills Perfume was heavenly– and sexy! Definitely  a new scent one should check out in anticipation of Valentine’s Day or weddings! One of my favorites was the Spongelle and Spongeable  booth. Spongeables are sponges preinjected with soap that have just enough "soap life" for 5, 7, 15, 30 days and then you toss and come in kid friendly colors and shapes. Want something more soothing? Spongelles is the high end, great ingredient line that is a lush treat for your skin with tons of soothing, nourishing ingredients to give you soft, hydrated younger looking skin –again in the same limited day sponges that you use up and then toss! Dirt Candles were around the corner and NOT made of dirt but unique fragrances made of soy and in beautiful presentations.

Fashion lines who participated included Etienne Aigner shoes, handbags and jewelry ( yummy boots, fab jewelry), Magaschoni Cashmere (super soft), Rock Anthem tees and tanks, Jacqueline Jarrot handbags and belts. Jewelry lines include Ley Love (very very cool line) and Silpada jewelry— very nifty presentations. Other fashion lines included Tradition Shoes — a new store opened out in the "valley" with the edge  to get to the cutting edge, limited edition shoes FAST!  Zorbitz was spreading more than a little good karma and vibes when giving away their jewelry and charms. Dearfoams presented comfy slippers and new casual shoes.

Sheila Kelly’s S Factory was represented at Silver Spoon along with another private workout facility on Third near La Cienega. Check out for some podcasts that are loaded independently from select vendors that talked about their brand and their participation in this event. There was a  KILLER new fashion designer at the very back of the room, Artise Originals. VERY edgy, very nice and I loved her stuff. WOW! Carroll Boyes debuted a new line of table top, homewear, office and personal decor items with unique themes. Some items were created to give African women with AIDS paid work that would be easy for them to complete.

Guests were served Blowfish Sushi tidbits from Chef Jack  Lee , sweets from Sweet Candy, Stoli drinks, Hite Beer, YH Trading and Fuze energy drinks  The interesting drink was TY-KU — a new organic  non-hangover spirit with a glow in the dark bottle. Now that’s definitely one I MUST try.

Check out the podcasts that will be following up as individual posts.
