Everest Rocks with a LIVE Concert and Generates Support for LOVE HOPE STRENGTH Foundation– and YOU Can Too!
Perhaps you heard about the EVEREST ROCKS Event where a group of musicians along with accomplished mountaineers, trekkers, and production crew climbed UP Mount Everest — podcasting every day– to give the first ever concert broadcasted from Mount Everest! The event– EVEREST ROCKS —
The mission of the climb– and the concert- was to support LoveHopeStrength.org.
Cancer survivors and co founders of the Love Hope Strength Foundation (LHSF) Mike Peters and James Chippendale lead 38 musicians, cancer survivors and mountaineers to Base Camp where they performed an acoustic concert to help the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital build the infrastructure of its clinic, NCRS, by providing them with much needed equipment and funding. In a country where the Avg. annual income is $300 a year our donation and support is going a long way to save lives NOW.
“Everest Rocks” was a fourteen day trek and acoustic concert at the base camp of Mt Everest, with a grand finale rock concert in Kathmandu. The entire journey was captured by a documentary team headed by Alex Coletti (the acclaimed producer of MTV’s ‘Unplugged’ series). The taping included the training, kickoff events, trek and base camp acoustic set. The video is below and while the concert is over, the podcasts and video live on and there is another way you can help support the LOVE HOPE STRENGTH Foundation : purchasing these adorable and affordable items for holiday gift giving or even to keep for yourself.

Why do it? Why all the people? Why the concert? Why the event? Why the effort? Because these people all believe in the Love Hope Strength Foundation — and that through group support, we can make a difference right now– not just in research – but in helping the lives of those battling cancer, the lives of their families and also the hospitals who need help in caring for the patients.
Join these people in making a difference by purchasing any of these super-cute, wearable, au courrant, affordable clothing and accessories. The most luxe item is the special editon LAST ONE Gibson guitar that’s been decorated especially for this fundraiser.
Someone you know would LOVE that guitar– even if just to donate it again to auction it off or to keep as a special memento of an amazing year, event, or holiday.
Please contribute to this very worthy cause– because you do know someone who currently has cancer. You might not be aware of it– but it does affect the lives of everyone and it does touch everyone. I have known several cancer stricken patients and survivors. To just be there and know that there is someone who cares enough to help, to listen and contribute is a lot.
This is the season of giving– give the gift of LOVE HOPE and STRENGTH by buying something. Buying a little is actually giving a lot and you will get something in return that money can’t buy– life, love and caring for others.
