Red Carpet Reviews: SAG Awards Fashion Critique from UK Stylist Michaela Jedinak Part #6

I just realized that I should have numbered these reviews.. so I have gone back and NUMBERED every single one of these things so that you could pick out which one you wanted to read and which one you had already read.

Colour: Great colour for her colouring and looks great in this fabric.

Shape
: The dress does all the right things for her shape- it gives her a nice tailored look, which complements her décolleté, waist and the layers is adding an interesting twist to this outfit rather then adding bulk or shortening her height.
Style: Beautiful her style- the only disappointing factor here is the accessories, which look more out of place then part of the garment
Overall Rating:***** Five Stars

Eric Dane

Colour: here it works because he looks all groomed for a big event
Shape: The suit and tie look current and well fitted. The two buttons have given him a nice waist
Style: Well, he should be wearing it either open or buttoned up…otherwise it looks a bit underdressed
Overall Rating:**** Four Stars

Rebecca Gayheart

Colour: Works very well for her complexion
Shape: What happened here? For someone who has more of a column figure and a long waist it gives the right curves at the right places. But the prominent fabric which goes the wrong direction cheapens the whole outfit. Such a detail is for someone who is small chested and not for someone who has a bosom. It looks like if she carries a tray in front of her.
Style: This excess of fabric on top in combination with this colour paired with this hairstyle gets more the image of an ageing sex kitten than a glamorous looking actress
.

Eva Longoria

Colour: Wrong, Wrong for her complexion- far too white and looks very harsh on her.
Shape: Very bad- it is the totally the wrong dress for her curves! The dress is too tight for her pear shape and therefore she appears curvier on the bottom than on top. The straps of her dress should be at least sitting more on her shoulders or been more of boat neck shape in order to balance the lower part with the top. It makes appear her décolleté aera quite small in comparison to her lower part. Also, the dress doesn’t flatter her tummy aera. The pattern looks very stretched there. I admit her back side works so much better for her where the proportion of the cut on top works better with her bottom. But still the back drop should not finish on your bottom but higher.
Style: Her hair style is lovely, but why so matchy matchy? This season it is all about colour, so why not going with the trend?
