Kate Bosworth

Colour: It is not her best colour, but since she is wearing her hair pulled back and wearing a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace breaks well with the lower neckline, she kind of makes it work. The golden necklace, her pale skin and youth are softening the colour and the look.
Bodyshape: She is tall, slim & slender and can wear more or less any shape. The volume and oversized clothing is very “in-fashion” and it works on her bodyshape. The dropped waist line looks good on her since she has the waist and the long slender legs to go with it, which are not shortening her height. The oversized cropped jackets with the big lapels add the right volume for small décolleté line and also give her the right proportion around the waist despite the dropped waist in her skirt line.

Style
: It is a classic, elegant and sleek look which is well executed with her pair of shoes and bow necklace. I just find it a bit too boring and also she is dressed too old for her age for my liking. This is spring and not autumn or winter, so the look is a bit too miserable for me.
Overall Rating: 5***** Five Stars

Mummie Gummer ( daughter of Meryl Streep)
mamie%20gummer%20at%2021%20afterparty.jpgColour: As good as the icy grey looks on her- the hot pink is just a no way. This neon colour should be reserved as an accent colour but never be a choice to be photographed in. The golden handbag just makes matter worse even if it works with her hair. Very good example when a dress wears you and where you are remembered by it (not in a positive way) .
Bodyshape: The Empire line looks pretty on her and also the short fitted sleeves work well on her frame. The idea of adding volume to her slender frame by choosing a bold colour is correct- the problem is her execution.
Style: I don’t know where to begin or end about what went wrong here. It just looks all cheap, loud and tacky. She is overdoing it by combining too many styles, colour and fabrics with each other. What is it with the necklace? This is really a case for the fashion police!
Overall Rating: 1* One Star
