The economy might have you a bit concerned and the fashion magazines are showing you luxe items and quite frankly not everyone can afford skincare hitting close to the $400.00 price point– much as we wish we could. You wonder what you can buy that won’t break your budget now that gas is about $4 a gallon and it makes any thoughts and wishes for some carefree summer shopping seem to be just so many slippery dreams.
All is not lost. There are lots of places you can shop that can help you stretch that fashion dollar and give you a style-conscious wardrobe without putting too much of a dent in your wallet.

I am loving the stuff that Marshall sent me and I cherry-picked things very carefully to be more useful for work and weekend as well as bridge into summer and work. It’s all about the feel that will not be just trendy but also be fresh enough to work into fall and should be workable next spring (if you haven’t worn it to death!

Here’s a close-up of the yellow dress. I am jonesing for this one. The color’s spot on and it’s just so summery that you feel like you could wear it almost every day– over swimwear, with those cool gladiator sandals, wedges or dressed up with great jewelry, bag and heels.
