They have consistently attracted among the finest performers in the musical theatre and entertainment worlds and the productions have garnered rave reviews, national attention and incredible audience appreciation.
Reprise was founded by Marcia Seligson, who served as Producing Artistic Director until 2005, and was dedicated to producing rarely revived, classic Broadway musicals. In the past ten years, they have revived the glorious musical creations of Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, Frank Loesser, Jule Styne, Kurt Weill, Bock & Harnick, Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers & Hart, Jerry Herman, Cy Coleman, Stephen Sondheim, the list goes on. Reprise has expanded their mission to include all musicals that deserve to be seen, either in their original form or with a new, fresh take.
Aside from a subscription series, Reprise has also produced numerous special events including the 20th Anniversary Concert Production of SWEENEY TODD, HAIR and FOLLIES plus an array of one-night-only readings, concerts and benefits.
Reprise Broadway’s Best is a not-for-profit corporation.
This is a not to be missed event. There are no bad seats at the Ford but it’s definitely worth getting as close as possible to the stage.
