Jill Cady, who created the look for Kristin Chenoweth gives us the scoop on how to get the “glam red carpet look” of Kristin.
1. What was your inspiration for this look?
My inspiration for her look was her dress and her beautiful eyes. Her dress is elegant and sexy; it called for sexy, strong eyes to compliment the look.
2. Can you walk me through step-by-step how you created this look?
I started by prepping the skin to make sure it was moist and nourished so the products would glide on!
I started with the eyes. I primed the eyes first and then blended lighter shades first and ended by doing the lashes and liner.
I then applied the highlighter and base.
I used cream blush to add color and contour the cheeks.
I then set the skin with loose powder and ended by completing the lips and body makeup.
3. What products were used to create this look?
I used NARS Lip Lacquer in Chelsea Girl to create the luscious, sexy lip
and I used NARS Blush in Orgasm for her cheeks.
