WellAboveAverage.com Does Bond, James Bond. Win the Best of Bond by Commenting!

WellAboveAverage.com is a not a huge Bond fan. Me, I love watching them over and over. ( I have seen every Bond at least 5 times and some of them I have seen easily a dozen.)
We both agree that Daniel Craig adds something to the mix – particularly in Casino Royale– that was missing in the other Bond flicks. What’s interesting is that while watching Quantum of Solace, I saw scant little of that “something” but I did see a lot of action– and very little of the girly girls that are typical of most Bond films. Hopefully WellAboveAverage.com won’t be so disappointed with Quantum of Solace (review to be posted soon– once I figure out all the things that were wrong and what went right — which were few and far between. Not even the gadgets were exciting– but Craig is always a pleasure to look at (and would be even better up close. )
However the point of this post is to tell you about the contest that’s running on WellAboveAverage.com for the Best of Bond, James Bond in terms of music. There is a reat compilation of the different Bond vocalists some very notable and some less so.
From WellAboveAverage.com
Interesting to note, that while much is made of each film’s “Bond Girl,” when it comes to theme songs Shirley Bassey–who is a vocalist on three of the songs on the CD–is THE Bond Girl. Other Bond “girl” vocalists include Gladys Knight, k.d. lang, Sheryl Crow, Nancy Sinatra, Tina Turner and Madonna.
My favorite Bond tunes are Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney and Wings and Nobody Does It Better by Carly Simon. In addition to performances by Tom Jones, Louis Armstrong and Lulu, the CD also features one-hit wonder A-Ha. It’s a pretty eclectic group of performers and performances: from Garbage and Chris Cornell to Sheena Easton and Rita Coolidge.

So here’s an easy win for you: step up to the WellAboveAverage.com blog and post a comment to enter to WIN the enter compilation. No emails, no real effort, Just tell her which song is your favorite Bond song. No brainer, nothing to lose. Just do it!!
Win something!!
