Beyond Belief Make-up Remover: Lark Lennox Gets NO Relief from Sallys Beauty Supply!

Poor Lark Lennox! She’s Beyond Belief with pain, aggravation and frustration!!

While sending emails to Sally’s Beauty Supply and getting now where, here’s what Lark has gone through in her own words.

I have written 2 reviews for the Beyond Belief Eye Makeup Remover Pads in the past several weeks but neither review appears on your site.I wouldn’t care about this if I’d written a positive review, but my review was based on a horrible experience with the product. It caused immediate, severe burning that was bad enough to keep me from falling asleep and left me with bloodshot eyes for several days.
At least one other person whose review is posted experienced the same thing with this product, but I suspect that many, many more people have complained about it–and that you are simply failing to publish the negative reviews.

It’s hard to believe that this product was properly tested before it was made available to the public. We’re not talking about a product that promises to make us beautiful. This is a product that comes in contact with our eyes!

I plan to send a copy of this email to the FDA because I think the product is downright dangerous!

Lark’s reply to the Sally Beauty Supply

I experienced a very bad reaction to Beyond Belief Eye Makeup Remover pads. I have written two negative reviews of the product and submitted them but they have not appeared on your site.

I also sent an email via this method last week but the only response I received was an email asking me which product I wanted to review. (That information was in the first sentence of my email.) I have not heard anything since then.
This isn’t just a matter of bad customer service, it’s about Sally Beauty’s integrity, as well as the safety of consumers. Why do you claim that people can review products if you don’t publish the reviews?

I have written to the FDA to complain about the product. I’m also going to put information in a number of online forums, including Makeup Alley, to warn people about the product and to share my experience with terrible customer service.

Thank you to Lark Lennox for keeping us in the loop about the Beyond Belief situation– because this really is a sorry situation.
