Eva Longoria

Oh no!
COLOR:
It is true it is a big colour to wear this season, but it is not a colour for her– especially not in this muted shade. A brighter stronger deeper orange with her hair worn down accessorised with cool colours e.g. blue, white, silver it would have been a hit. Unfortunately , this color is incredibly draining on her and makes her skin look sallow.
BODYSHAPE:
The style of the dress for her silhouette is not completely wrong; it is just too much for her petite scale. The metallic silver embellishment around her décolleté line is a great choice since it balances slightly her skin colour around this area.
The draping around her waist is beautifully fitted around her long waist and its style complements her bust and waist. Howver the additional layer with its ruffles around her waist does not flatter her. The dress without this additional layer would have been perfect on her. The layer and the skirt of the dress are kept in the same colour it is too much for her petite frame and height. It makes her look squashed and cramped. If the shape of the dress would have continued without its pleats and ruffles, the dress would have had an entirely different look.

STYLE:

The clutch bag is wrong in colour but right in size. The killer element for this look is her hairstyle. She is a beautiful and fun -loving person. This hairstyle not only ages her but gives it a kind of cheap look to ensemble. Combined with the colour that drains the life out of her, she creates all the wrong attention.
Overall Rating: 3*** Three Stars

Christina Applegate

COLOR:
If there would have been a winner for best dress & look I would give the award to her.
The colour of the dress is picture perfect for her colouring, very fashionable and a beautiful choice for a new year.
BODYSHAPE:
The one shoulder style is perfectly fitted on her shoulder: not too dramatic or too close to her neck. It doesn’t add volume to her long but wider neck. The loose asymmetric style of her top creates nice feminine curves at all the right places like shoulders, arms, bust waist and hips. Her top half finishes beautifully on her hips and divides the top half from the lower half of the dress in perfect proportion. It is loosely fitted in her thigh area but goes out slightly in her leg line to provide not only a relaxed feel about the dress, but also comfort when walking in it. The outgoing train balances beautifully her highlighted shoulder detail on her broader shoulder.
STYLE:
The contrasting clutch bag is another detail that balances her top half with her lower half and provides as well a nice silhouette towards her slender hips. Her necklace is the key accessory that pulls the whole look together and gives it its unique look and feel. Christina’s soft pulled back hairstyle complements this effortless style and by wearing a bright red lipstick she adds the glam to her look that reflects the event and nigh. All in all is a super feminine sexy sophisticated look of a woman who knows how to bring the X-factor to her look.
Overall Rating: 5***** Five Stars
