Heading Into Summer: Time to Get Fit & Fabulous! BYou2 DVD Workout Review!!

A couple of new fitness DVD’s came across the desk and fitness junkie (yeah, really) that I am, I gave them a run-through. Based on the current rage of the Bollywood movie, Slumdog Millionaire, the trend for Bollywood workouts is ramping up. Here’s a workout that addresses this trend plus mixes in some hip-hop too.
For the younger set (read tweens & teens) and those who want easy, beginner workout with simple choreography, Sony BMG has partnered with Sabrina Bryan of The Cheetah Girls and Dancing with the Stars in the launch of the second fitness DVD, BYOU2

“BYou is more than just a fitness routine, it’s a mental and physical revolution that will erase your ‘body drama’ and help you to get in shape and be confident all while having tons of fun! As I say in my health book for teens, you’ve got to know your body before you can love your body, and these amazing routines will inspire you to BReal, BHealthy and BYou” – Nancy Redd, New York Times best-selling author of “Body Drama”
“Just like the first BYou, BYou2 is for everyone! BYou2 has exercise combined with really cool Hip Hop and Bollywood dance moves. BYou2 is all about being comfortable with who you are and having the confidence to do anything you want to. This program will make you feel better and have more energy.”

Sabrina is joined on BYOU2 by RUJUTA VAIDYA, a well known Bollywood choreographer. Ruj has more than 10 years of experience in Bollywood. Her mentor is the legendary Bollywood choreographer, Saroj Khan and Ruj is her only disciple outside of India.
What’s up with this workout? Lots– as in lots of fun and lots of easy to learn dance moves that are true Bollywood as well as Bollywood-inspired.

A video about the workout DVD featuring both Sabrina and Ruj!

I tried this and it’s very simple and easy to follow. You can rewind if you need to but the moves are broken down quite a bit– and it’s perfect for the beginner.
