Color Your World, Change Your Appearance & Look 10 Years Younger with Jill Kirsh Color!!

The LA Times ran an article in the Image section entitledA New Set of Shades”, written by Adam Tschorn about color consultants and how he got “color-swatched” by Jill Kirsh of JillKirshColor.com Needless to say, Jill Kirsh has been swamped since that article hit on May 17!
Here are the pre and post color-swatching images that ran with Tschorn’s article, courtesy of Susan Schrader .

The relevance of this color-swatching/matching is based on your hair, eyes and skintone– to find the best colors to show off you to your best advantage. Women know the theme and understand implicitly that it’s crucial to find the right shade of pink and that the wrong shade of green can –well– make you look green instead of great! It’s all about warm versus cool and intensity of hue and Jill Kirsch and her website Jillkirshcolor.com is the master of finding the perfect color palette for YOU.

A fireball of high-power energy, I managed to talk to Jill before this article broke (and if you don’t read it, I will personally come over with a copy and bop you on the head with it) and scored an appointment for tomorrow (which when you read this was almost 2 weeks ago).

What you have to realize is what Tschorn realized (regardless if you are a man or woman), you can almost any color but not every shade of every color. Some will make you look like death and others will make you look like you are heading out to party– by the clothing you are wearing. It’s about making you look your best and –even more importantly– younger, vibrant and confident.
Jill comes to you, if you are local in the So. California area and you can be swatched and figure out which clothes to ditch in your closet because you never wear them– due to color choice. She’s amazing– and if you read Tschorn’s article you will know that. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on clothing– you just need to know the right colors — and with a mind to your personal body shape, you are ready to rock and roll out shopping.
Skip the botox. lasers and plastic surgery, talk to Jill Kirsh or better yet, hit her site jillkirshcolor.com . Watch the videos and buy your swatch palette and hit your closet to weed out the wrong from the right colors.
Here’s a real scoop. She’s showing up at my house and I will have videos (EEEK, scary) of the process of the swatching and also the results. Let’s see what happens.
Are you game? (Of course you are, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain including a bit of laughter at me– because even I make fashion mistakes. I can think of a couple in my closet right now)..
Take a look at Adam Tschorn’s article,. Jill Kirsh’s website — jillkirshcolor.com and see what you think.
I would LOVE your input on this– so feel free to comment or send me an email or reach out to me on twitter (lastory) or on facebook. (FYI If you need help finding me on facebook email me at stevie@lastory.com). My hair color has changed a number of times and so has the hair style. So this should be interesting because the colors of most of the clothing were chosen based on when my hair was curly — still the same highlights– but when it’s straight, it’s a different color – much blonder. So I will be a bit of a challenge to Kirsh!!
Wish me luck — so that I don’t have to burn a hole in my credit card.

  1. This color process make sense and as a result of Jill’s counselling, I changed my color palette 15 years ago and never looked back.
My artistic abilities improved as a result of what I learned from her about color and so did my income. Andmost importantly, I know I look better and present myself in the best possible way to the world using this color system.
