Notes from a Saturday Evening: Chris Abraham Is a Very Interesting Guy.. and We Have Found Common Cause

Chris Abraham (www.chrisabraham.com is mentioned fairly frequently on this blog. I still have to finish the last 2 parts of the podcast.. plus give him a Peter Shankman podcast and posts.

After hitting the Cj by Cookie Johnson event at Nordstrom South Coast Plaza which was “packed”.. really it was packed on Sat– for almost 2 hours there and 40 + minutes to get there and 30 to get back– was a chunk out of my personal time.
I am sitting at my desk when my cell rings and I check the number and see the area code and recognize it. It’s Chris — but I have to make sure it’s Chris because he sounds super cheery and happy. Once I am *sure* it’s the Chris Abraham , he mentions that he’s calling to wish me a happy birthday. Ummm, but it’s not– my birthday, that is. Not today anyway, not for a while!
I tell him that and he’s blaming it on the move from Berlin messing up his calendar but the move was months ago. He asked me if my birthday was 9/5 and I said nooooo it’s not.. and gave him the date. He’s puzzled and I am peppering him with questions about his phone, platform and provider. Voila– it’s ATT!!! So is mine! I am having calendar problems too.
Watch for an upcoming blog about ATT and some related companies who provide cell phones and platforms for mobile use. If you have ATT & are having problems with calendar, syncing, connecting, your phone dying within the warranty period or other related problems, reach out to me. I have contacts in ATT executive level and I think they need to realize that there are more serious problems in their mobile system.
We did talk a little business in relation to that. Chris has been doing webinars on the use of social media/twitter/facebook for business
ATT & a few other companies need some serious training in how this can affect their bottom line. (ATT, please don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s on record in several conversations). It’s worth the one hour to listen and see the slides and it’s really helpful
Also I would like to thank Chris Abraham for the lovely “happy Saturday” song that he sang to me.. and wished me a very merry unbirthday– me who is an devout Alice in Wonderland fan (and he didn’t know that).
A secret about Chris– he does have super power. He can walk and read a book/paper at the same time without running into anything or tripping. (whoa–seriously cool to me who trips over everything)
Just thought I would share that with you– I don’t talk about fluff all the time.
