Reality TV Strikes Again: Running in Heels @ Marie Claire Winds Up with One Winner: Talita Silva!! Video Interview

If you follow the Style Network’s reality shows, you know that Running in Heels, is winding down. What was once supposed to be a documentary-style show about three Marie Claire interns in NYC, wound up being something of a competition: Only one of them was chosen to continue working at the famous fashion pub– and it got vicious at the end. (sigh– why do they tend to typecast women as victims or bitches?)

The winner was Talita Silva, and Evil Beet ( had a chance to sit down with the fashionista in LA this past weekend–just hours before the finale aired– to talk about her real opinions on the other interns and the twists of reality TV and the scoop on her dating life and awesome tats.
What’s really weird is the way this interview goes. It’s sort of part airhead and part “ok to be a bitchy” sort of thing. So not digging this. This show was supposed to be more *real reality* and not the snarky, nasty competition but unfortunately it was not that way.
