Kick-Off to Summer Party at Byron & Tracey Salon: MTV Movie Awards Weekend

When various celebrity-oriented events (read awards), it’s not uncommon to get a variety of invites for a wide variety of events. I was invited to attend the “Kick -Off to Summer Party” at the Byron & Tracey Salon.
Here’s what’s weird– I hadn’t heard fo Byron & Tracey Salon. This was the “down low”, A-list salon that’s in Beverly Hills but not the typical location and I am not going tell you where it is because you would get lost finding it. I know Beverly Hills pretty well and I got lost getting to the place. However getting there was so worth the time and effort ( and parking meter) that my friend Y and I were wondering why we would leave (except that we had another event to go to — but that’s another story)

Once inside this “oasis” of beauty, it really was a hive of things to do and see

Inside the Salon –which had a courtyard and a huge area to relax and lounge in.
There were a number of brands participating in this salon including Covergirl as one of the two key co-sponsors.

Monday’s post covered the celebrity circuit and what was in the swag bags and who was there. You need to hear what Y & I experienced. Y got a manicure from the amazing Bali James

Bali James and Cameron Silver (Decades 2– our most fave resale boutique)
Bali arranged for Y to get a cut, me to get my highlights “lit” by RAZ ( phenomenal job in short time particularly having never seen me before). Everyone made sure we got food and drink. and had a good time. So nice.. so sweet and in this hotspot of celebrity beauty (tons of A list clients here and the people we saw were definitely on our radar!)

Food was amazing, Alize snowcones were being handed out too along with drinks and Cafe Bustelo

By the time we walked out of there laden with goodie bags, we had seen Rebecca Romjin, Gabrielle Anwar, Poppy Montgomery, Jessica Capshaw and several others.
We hustled to get to the next event but we knew we looked really good because we had such great fun and attention at the Byron and Tracey Salon.
PS– want a great place to get your hair, color, facials or nails done? Check out this place! it’s low-key, no attitude, relaxing and fun!!
Amazing event, Tons of fun and we were both glad we had been there. Love the Covergirl collection and look for a post soon with the latest 411.
