Life on Mars was a personal favorite– I always watched this series and made sure to see each episode. So when it was cancelled, I was greatly disappointed because the vintage feel of 1973 drama was true and authentic. However the show was given time to wrap up the series pretty neatly and so this one and only season of Life on Mars starring Jason O’Mara, Michael Imperioli, Harvey Keitel and Gretchen Mol (truly inspirational) has just been released on DVD and definitely worth seeing– more than once.
