Celebrity Style Slam: Jill Kirsh Comes Up with Her Favorites: Three Who Nail It!

This is the page where Jill and I could not decide who to feature because we liked these three ladies (actually more but these three nailed it solidly) so much we couldn’t leave one out. So here you go.. this is how it plays out.
It’s interesting when Jill Kirsh of JillKirshColor.com and I are doing these reviews. We are on the phone discussing the dresses, hair, make-up and jewelry and you might think we are crazy because I have sent her all these photos and said “let’s do the ‘slam'”.
Celebrity Style Slam: Anna Torev vs Jennifer Carpenter vs Eva LaRue.
Anna Torev

Jill Kirsh:

She nails the color in the dress. The dress fits her well and the handbag works the look with her hair and the make-up. The impact and presentation make a huge difference and she is wearing the dress rather than the dress wearing her or being a separate item altogether.

LA-Story.com:

I saw the dress, the color and entire look of Torev — who I have never seen other than in photos — and knew she nailed the look. Kudos to her and her stylist. Missing jewelry factor -which would have taken her up from casually glam to amazingly gorgeous. She needed a necklace, a ring and/or bracelet. (pick 2 of 3). She’s got the look– now if she can just keep that going and work her colors, the accessories and dress styles, Torev could be the next Cate Blanchett.

Jennifer Carpenter

Jill Kirsh:

She makes a statement and pulls it off with aplomb from head to toe. It’s a really strong fashion statement and she’s working it well. It makes her look the woman that she is rather than the character she plays

LA-Story.com:

I am highly impressed with what Carpenter has worn. She’s rocking the look and she’s got all the browns, bronzes, cocoa and even black tones working the look with her hair and makeup and she sizzles. The pleating looks great and the dress slithers around her body. Who would know she plays a police woman when she’s looking like one hot sexy mama. She’s missing one tiny little accessory– something simple and delicate (chocolate or cognac diamonds anyone?) at her throat– but given the wattage of her make-up, the dress and everything else, who’s going to argue with this officer of the law? You go Jennifer.. Go girl.

Eva LaRue

Jill Kirsh:

While I just saw her on TV and this photo doesn’t do her justice. She looks exquisite and she’s amazing. What else can I say about her. The warm tones in her hair and the draping of the dress in a gorgeous color– she “owns” that look . It’s not an easy color to wear and she’s working it .

LA-Story.com

Eva LaRue happens to be one of the under-rated fashion celebrities. They don’t take her seriously and people– wake and smell the cappucino — because someone should. This is one tall drink of water that is not cold– but sizzling and she can pull off a great deal of looks. She’s got the warm skintones, a great body, great hair, She’s takes chances. What more could a designer ask for? She wore this outfit and worked it well– even with a retro hairstyle. It’s gorgeous, sexy, amazing. Do it one more time Eva!!

Stay tuned for more from Jill Kirsch and www.JillKirschColor.com as we review some of the Emmy looks from the women who walked the red carpet.
