Last Minute Gift Ideas: What to Buy, Where to Shop.

It’s now getting close to the that special time and you might be pulling your hair out thinking about hitting the malls. While you can go to the malls, ye brave souls who have faith they will find parking spaces easily, you might want to think about some other options
1) for those who know how to shop a store like a beauty supply store, or your local
Ulta,
Trade Secrets,
Sephora
,
Bath and Bodyworks,
The Body Shop or other similar type beauty store, you can find an array of skincare, cosmetics, hair and body products as well as hair tools that would be welcome gifts by most on your list.
While guys might not want or need a curling iron or a flat iron (though Ryan Secrest uses one), a good blow dryer or a great collection of bodywash and easy to use hair care would be a great gift.

For the regular guy, AXE makes a great collection and has amazing selections that are guy friendly and very affordable.
I don’t know a single woman who wouldn’t kill to have a mini flat-iron or a great deep conditioners for her hair– or even a gift certificate for a manicure or pedicure.
There are posts on this blog about a variety of beauty tools and products that are definitely a great gift and can be purchase from drugstore or even mass merchants like Target or Walmart to get a great gift.
Considering the current economy, a gift card (available at your local supermarkets) for iTunes, Best Buy,Home Depot, theaters, bookstores, restaurants and lots of other great places gives you a chance to peruse a library of gift card options that allows the receipient to shop at their leisure– which is what I did for many on my list this year.
Other ideas include the fixings for a great dinner, or putting together a basket of movie survival goodies to take to a theater or use while watching their favorite DVDs.
This year, I have Riedel glassware and crystal on my brain– perfect for all sorts of beverages. While my budget won’t allow me to buy the crystal, Target.com has some amazing Riedel Vivant glassware with specialty glasses for beer, specific wines, flutes and more– at extremely reasonable prices around $30-$35.00 per set of 2 or 4 glasses.
Hope this gives you some ideas beyond the mall — as well as a wealth of vendors on the web that you can order from and present the recipient with a card to expect a shipment that will be forthcoming allowing them to extend the anticipation of the holiday
