Color
Hmmm how many colors are in this dress? Step aside Mr. Kutcher.. you outclass Ms. Alba by a long-shot with your Ferragamo outfit.
Poor Jessica, did your stylist take the night off? This warm-green and black plaid/check is great. However whatever made you think of black tights and those shoes in blue?
Shape
Jessica Alba as you can tell has great legs. She should show them off more often. However not in a bubble dress that sort of makes her look a touch preggers. It does nothing for her legs. She’s not got a lot of bustline and this strappy deep-V neck dress does nothing but accentuate the lesser part of her body. Alba has a great shape, why hide it with this looks like it came from Kohls or Forever 21 dress? She’s shown incredible style sense for eons– what happened here?
Style
Wrong, wrong, wrong, This is not the dress for Alba. The colors of the dress clash with the shoes. (What the heck?). There’s no rhyme, reason or sense to be made from this outfit! it just doesn’t work. Even a guy I spoke to and we were comparing photos of Biel vs Alba was stunned that this was Jessica Alba in this outfit. It makes no sense. The style is wrong for her. Pencil skirt to that dress and put on a leather moto jacket or a lacy cardigan and that would have worked it a lot better.
Hair/Makeup/Accessories
Hair: When did cinnamon buns come back into style for hair? The last time we saw something close to this was Star Wars Part 1 and even Carrie Fisher regrets the hair style to this day. I can’t tell is Jessica was channeling Pebbles Flintstone which would account for the rest of the outfit or someone just got lazy with the hair. A softer longer, romantic, Veronica Lake hairstyle would have worked so much better.
Make-up is fine. It’s the only thing that is good in the entire outfit.
Black tights don’t make an entire outfit. Yes they go with the dress, but since when is that the saving grace for a dress that looks like it should have a big fat X on it. (meaning no!)
Boots: granny lace-up boots in black would have been great. Peep-toe boots is a stretch. Cobalt blue peep-toe lace-up granny boots– way over the top and beyond belief. This nailed the coffin shut (or the closet door) on this outfit. The colors clash. There is no way to make these items work unless everything else was black.
Where is her jewelry? The messy charm bracelet isn’t right. No earrings, no rings, no necklace?? Where is the style and accessories savoir faire that Alba typically shows off? This looks like a costume for Halloween minus the Halloween.
While I am not comparing Ashton Kutcher to Alba in this post, the photo of the two of them, she just looks underdressed or over-dressed and he looks smart, savvy and dapper.
Overall Rating: 1 star for the make-up and black tights and that’s not saying a lot. Huge mistake here.

Color
Jessica Biels is wearing a vari-colored warm pink and soft red watercolor print against a soft white background. Interestingly it’s a good color for her but as you can see in this photo, it was so “matchy-matchy” to the background and even the photo you see above– it looks like the azaleas are coming out of her hips. They aren’t but it’s not a flattering photo for or of Ms. Biels. The

Shape
Jessica Biels has a great curvy body. Who wouldn’t want to look like her? Well maybe she doesn’t! This dress is nice but it doesn’t show off her assets to their best advantage and it’s just very body-conscious. It’s extremely romantic but seems a tad overdone for Oscar de la Renta . The wispy, feathery petals would do better on a slighter, slimmer more petite figure that needs some oomph. Biels doesn’t need that. She should have taken her cue from texting BFF Jenn Garner!!
It’s nice but not rocking the house.
Style
The style and bodyshape go hand in hand. I love the single shoulder. I think that’s perfect for her because she has a strong shoulder line but the rest is so much fluff. Not what I think of Jessica Biels typically wears but I think maybe she was seeking something different. JB: seek a different stylist!!! This one didn’t do you any favors.
Hair/Makeup/Accessories
This is where the outfit is made or broken. Love the hair except that it doesn’t really go with the dress. The piece of hair that’s draped across the side of her face keeps getting i n her way and she keeps pushing it back. Hmmm makes you wonder if that’s a styling mistake. I love the clean lines and I think it would have been great with a different dress.
The make-up is dead on perfect. Clean eyes, lots of lashes and great lips!! Kudos.
Where’s the jewelry? Where’s the necklace? How about the stack of bracelets? Something more than just earrings? There’s room here for some delicate chains around the neck or a singular pendant and a slim stack of super thin bangles.
Overall Rating: 3 Stars.
Winner: Jessica Biels because at least she looked like a star!!
