While 140 calories might seem like a lot, it’s not when it’s got twice the protein of other yogurts and it has less sugar and zero fat. The taste (I have tried blueberry and the strawberry) is not overly sweet and sugary but has a nice balance of sweet and tart with a great creamy texture. It’s definitely satisfying in a way that I didn’t realize yogurt could be. Considering I have been eating yogurt for breakfast for several years, finding one that’s got more protein and less sugar is of value because it fills you up longer, gives you longer-lasting energy and it’s better for your body.
Whether you are single or have a family, not only would this be a great light meal, but it would make a great dessert when layered with fruit and granola for a party or mixed into a protein shake to give an even better protein boost Take the plain which has more tart flavor and use it for dips and on veggies. This is a yogurt product that’s not exactly like the Greek version but it’s close enough to appeal to the mainstream US audience and sitll provide a pretty close to the original mouth-feel presentation as well as 2x the protein, 0 fat and more Vitamins A & D.
