Going Greek with Korres: Get the Beautiful Look, Feel & Scent of Greek Isles!

Want to know what to get Mom for Mother’s Day? Here’s a few products that I think rock from Korres . I have tried some of these products (not all, but some) because they are natural, great consistency in their product quality from color products to skincare to body care- -they all pretty much rock.

My hands-down fave is the Korres Lip Butter. I have one in the car (plum), one in my bag (mango — YUMMY!!) and one Pomegranate in my kit. Still not enough. Want them all — all the time. Soft, gentle on dry lips and the mango really tastes like mango. Deluscious!! Price– a pittancer at $10 for the amount of great, good for your lips treatment!
Quercitin and Oak Age-reversing Face Primer

I bought this product at Sephora because I was impressed by the ingredients and that I knew that some of those things would work.
Enriched with powerful antioxidant Quercetin and Oak extracts that improve skin cell functioning, repair fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture and elasticity. Hyaluronic acid forms a protective shield on the skin, providing immediate moisture and increasing skin elasticity while Barley extract instantly fills wrinkles and refines pores. Improves skin texture, thus providing a healthy glow to skin even without make-up. Silicone-free; does not clog the pores.
• 97% saw improved skin texture
• 88% saw significant increase in skin elasticity
• 84% saw visibly firmer, tighter skin
• 75% saw immediate lifting
I have used this maybe 10 times– and I will say it does provide a smooth base for foundation and make-up. I do look less dehydrated at the end of the day and it does make the skin s softer. Not yet seen the others but then my tube isn’t half gone. A little bit goes a long ways. Retail $33.. and that’s pretty affordable considering the ingredient list and it doesn’t have silicones in it for slip!

Here’s some stuff I have been eye-balling but not tried. Sounds luxe and luscious and perfect for gifting anyone– including yourself or to take along on vacation or create a staycation affect.
There are a couple of body products that I think are mission critical from this line:
Body Butters: typically I use them and they don’t do a lot for me and they get half used and then I hand them off to someone else or I use it on my feet with socks at night.

Quince Jumbo Body Butter
However Korres body butter is shea butter, quince extract, almond, avocado and sunflower oils to nourish the skin and comes in an array of flavors– the most favorite being Basil Lemon, (yum!), Yogurt (great for skin), Clementine (new tangy scent), Jasmine and Guava! You might not need to go to the tropics when using this product because it’s not greasy. Price point ranges from $10-$29 depending on size of container.
The shower gels can make or break your day (or night). The scent can soothe, invigorate, relax or energize you. it’s about what it does for your skin to cleanse and also be nourishing to the skin!
GUAVA-1_383x414.jpg
Guava Shower Gel: Tropical, sweet
Feel: Luxurious, gourmet Guava showergel is enriched with Active Aloe® that stimulates collagen and elastin to reduce the visible signs of aging.
• Wheat Proteins form a protective shield to help maintain skin’s ideal moisture level.
• Potent Vitamins C, E & Zinc enhance the natural immune system of the skin.
Fragrances I am jonesing: Basil Lemon, Clementine, Glogg. and something that is unusual. P rice point $13-$20.
Whether you buy a $10 lip butter or a $29 body butter, you can be sure you are getting a great product. The skincare feels really good. I am just waiting to evaluate the results!
One product I tried at Fred Segal Santa Monica Beauty Mix store, was the Korres powder blush. Little did I know how potent and pigmented it was! Wow.. and I spend some serious time blending it and layering a brown color over the coral tone that was beyond– beyond. This line could stand up against NARS for great pigment– and once I got it blended to a wearable shade, it lasted all day– and that doesn’t happen often. Price point– $24.00. Not bad for something that’s quite comparable to NARS in size, quality and pigment.
I would love to learn more about this line– and the color line particularly since I hadn’t seen it before.
