Fashion Night Out was an amazing success on both coasts. Particularly interesting was this tidbit from Giorgio Armani who had 4 celebrity-hosted events.
In New York:
– Giorgio Armani New York: Giorgio Armani fashion icon Lauren Hutton reminisced with actress/writer Joan Juliet Buck over her long career in front of the camera and travels around the world, and even shared her shopping advice, for a crowd that filled the boutique’s second floor. Both wore selections from the Giorgio Armani fall collection.

– Armani/5th Avenue: Enthusiastic guests lined up outside the store for supermodel Bar Refaeli who showed them how to strike a pose in front of the camera, taking over 500 personal photos with customers in a digital photo booth.

Bar paired a Fashion’s Night Out T-shirt, which benefits the NYC AIDS Fund, with an Emporio Armani vest and trouser. In addition, DJ Colman provided the sounds while guests received makeovers courtesy of Giorgio Armani Beauty ( thank you Tim Quinn!) .

In Los Angeles:
– Giorgio Armani Los Angeles: Acclaimed actor Samuel L. Jackson hosted an exhibition of his favorite red carpet looks and discussed his Armani odyssey, the components of personal style, and the fun he has with dressing for red carpet events with fashion expert Steven Cojocaru for a crowd of fans. Both men wore Giorgio Armani, each bringing their own style to the designer’s fall collection. The exhibition of his Armani looks will remain up in the boutique through next week.

– Emporio Armani Los Angeles: Star DJs Super Mash Bros. spun an explosive set of music and video mash-ups for a packed house.The DJs Ethan Dawes and Nicolas Fenmore both wore suits from the Emporio Armani fall/winter collection.
Giorgio Armani also supported this initiative around the world by hosting a series of events and cocktail parties in Paris, Milan, New York, Los Angeles, Sydney and Asia.
