Happy New Year!! What an amazing time of year. All those possibilities but resolutions can be scary. They don’t have to be scary and resolutions don’t have to be made. They can be lifestyle changes that help you to look and feel better by eating smart, treating your skin smart and getting fit smart — all without spending a lot of money.
Celebrity makeup artist Michelle Lee talks about the changes you can make for the new year– just like the celebrities do– and look better but without the high price tag or deprivation.
3) Eating smart at restaurants. Michelle recommends APPLEBEE’s!!! Their new menu features 550 calorie entrees or less.
4) Five minute makeup? Can it be done? According to Michelle Lee, it can, particularly with mineral makeup
5) Fitness is key and there’s nothing like having a personal trainer to run you through your paces but we can’t all afford that can we? You can buy (or rent ) DVD workouts that make it simple to work out — providing you give it the time repetitions– that are required to make changes. Michelle recommends at least 3-5 times per week (and think FIVE to see visible differences) While she features 2 in the video (Jillian Michael and Valerie Bertanelli workouts), I love Exhale Core Fusion workouts like the new Yoga Fusion and the Bootcamp. Bootcamp will kick your butt (and give you some serious work out too in 10 minute blocks so you can spread them out over the course of the day!)
