I have had other treatments that weren't effective or made my hair stick straight to the point that it wouldn't hold a curl or wave longer than 30 mins. It looked great the first 72 hours until I washed it. Now it is the same hair I went into the salon with. If you don't have white hair, don't use this product. Just one thing though- after the Perfection solution processes for 15 minutes, it is then blow dried to 99% dried (without shampooing at this time) and then flat ironed with a 360 degree iron. (flat ironed right over the Perfection solution). After the flat ironing is complete, the hair is to cool completely, then you can shampoo the hair if desired because you may feel a slight residue on the hair. You do not have to shampoo at this time if the residue doesn't bother you. I'm thinking you just added that shampoo step accidentally, as your description was wonderfully clear on the product.
