Celebrity Makeup Artist Jeffrey Paul makes his debut on this blog today. Debut is sort of a weird word. Not for lack of trying– we have tried to connect here in LA and it’s never worked yet- till now!
In this video, Jeffrey is showing you how to find the perfect shade of foundation for your skin. It’s one of the hardest things to do, but the way Jeff shows you, it’s super easy. If you go to a drugstore with open samples (*or you can return things that don’t work), take some cotton swabs with you to test it out in the store. You will *quickly* see which is the right color for you.

Who is Jeffrey Paul?
Jeffrey Paul is an amazing makeup artist and hair stylist with tremendous skill and artistic flexibility. Paul started his career at the Boston Opera, where he trained with masters of the stage in both hair and makeup. Heading to New York, he worked in high-fashion– engineering avant garde looks for designers and runway. MAC Cosmetics recognized his talent and sent him to Los Angeles as creative head and national trainer. At MAC, he traveled the globe, invented seasonal signature looks and developed original techniques. He moved onto Dior in the same capacity before establishing the successful career he has today in Hollywood.
Paul’s ability to ‘do it all’ along with his low-key style hasenabled him to build a loyal clientele amongst celebrities and an extensive list of projects with cutting edge brands. His clients include: Kim Cattrall, Adrien Grenier, Eva Mendes, Elle McPherson, Frieda Pinto, Emily Blunt and Tyra Banks. His television credits include shows for for E! Networks, Lifetime Television, the Academy Awards and MTV. He follows the Aristotle philosophy “that art partly completes what nature cannot bring to finish.”
His unique understanding and training in the healing arts including reiki, shiatsu, facial acupuncture and aromatherapy further add to his talents and ability to establish a creative and healthy environment. Jeffrey Paul makes his clients feel inspired and look good. He donates his time and talent to a variety of charities and philanthropic organizations, and has recently started his own charitable foundation in India. He continues to work towards using his talents to create, inspire and awaken the uniqueness and beauty in all those he touches.
