Celebs Clamor for Gonpachi’s Cuisine & Fab Array of Swag at Emmy Suite!
Gonpachi of Beverly Hills with it’s killer cuisine and gorgeous interior, opened its 100-year-old wooden moon gate, welcoming guests into a beautiful Japanese garden to host the “Endless Summer” Primetime Emmy® Suite & Party to honor Emmy Nominated actors, former Emmy winners, presenters, stylists and various industry VIPS. An invite-only event that was co-hosted by Oliver Sweeney and with a special suite presented by Vitabath® was produced by Doris Bergman and Kathy Duliakas. This suite featured an incredible array of fashion for him and her, the finest in body and skin care, electronics, lingerie, fabulous footwear, stunning jewelry, sexy swimwear, delectable goodies, exotic cocktails and more!
Like all Berg Group events, there is a spirit of giving back– that’s part of why I go. It’s nice to see someone focus on that and celebrities actually like that – but so do I because I took a backpack to the event.
Guests donated school supplies, backpacks and money to the “I Have a Dream” Foundation® – Los Angeles (IHAD-LA) which provides academic, social and cultural enrichment services to under-served youth and their families.
Eric Stonestreet, Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actor in A Comedy Series (‘Modern Family’) was trying to make it to the party, but when it looked as if it wasn’t going to happen, he sent his publicist over with multiple backpacks to donate to the charity!
Gorgeous Cheryl Hines (‘Suburgatory’ & ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’) dashed into the party, headed right for the charity and exclaimed, “I just came for the kids — I don’t want anything — I just want to help the kids,” as she donated multiple backpacks and was gone in a flash! Hollywood really does have Heart!
Various celebrities were in attendance and the products that were gifted to celebs were really something special.
Joe Mantegna at I-Stick Hands-Free Cellular
Jackee with Boot-Tights by Leg-up
“Outstanding” Antonia’s Nuts™; (these were awesome, plus there were some amazing chocolate dipped fruit and other things to snack on)
Hawaii’s Waialua Soda Works — great flavors and I had pineapple and forgot to pick up a 6-pack. However if you are near a Whole Foods, you can find this brand there!
Blue Angel Ultra Premium Vodka being carried away by a celebrity guest
Oliver Sweeney — THE couture designer of men’s footwear, furnishings and more. (women are coming in 2012!).
There’s more to come on this event. So stay tuned– check out tomorrow or the day after (after all, it only gets BETTER on the second half)!
Thank you to all the vendors and especially to Doris Berg and company for their warm welcome!
