It’s Time to Raise the Glass and Toast to the Weekend!
Yes it’s finally the weekend and this week + last week = hell on wheels so it’s definitely time for a cocktail. (If you dig back into the news of last week and figure out what made national news from the So. CA. area, you will figure where the week(s) started to go downhill)
I for one am glad it’s almost over and I am giving you 2 recipes and a video for some unusual but tasty cocktails.
Licorice Vanilla Cupcake
2 1/2 oz. Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka ®
1/2 oz. LUCID®
1/2 oz. simple syrup
Crushed chocolate cookie on rim
Chinese Star Anise
In an iced filled shaker, add the vodka LUCID® and simple syrup.
Shake thoroughly and strain into the chocolate crumb rimmed martini glass. Garnish with the star anise.

Passion Fruit Mousse Cake
1.5 oz CAMUS VS Elegance
0.75 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
0.75 oz Passion Fruit Concentrate
Add all ingredients to mixing glass and stir with no ice to mix.
Add ice, give a hard shake, and strain into a coupe glass.
Now that it’s Friday, you have NO excuse not to find something interesting to drink! This is the second post of cocktails this week! So have some friends over and try them out. Don’t forget to drink responsibly and have a great weekend!!
