Recently there was an event in Malibu where many in attendance were all smiles. Courtesy of Veronica Barton Schwartz, owner of Veronica Skin and Body Care Center in Malibu, Ca., guests of this event were privy to an Operation Smile Movie Premiere she hosted on September 21. This premiere party was a moving and inspirational tribute to this phenomenal organization that has been pivotal in restoring relations with Vietnam and has helped so many children around the world keep smiling.
“I have a very strong affinity for Operation Smile and the work that they do,” commented Veronica. “I was thrilled to make the connection to Craig T. Nelson who so graciously agreed to narrate this important documentary. We have held several fundraisers at our Spa and so many of our clients and friends have come out to support this organization because the work that they do is so meaningful and impressive.”

The film uniquely weaves the stories of seven individuals whose independent efforts would help to rebuild relations between Vietnam and the United States; recover the remains of soldiers lost in the Vietnam War; and bring smiles to tens of thousands of Vietnamese children and their families by providing access to free surgical healthcare.
