I happen to know about this product because I won one of these at a Spring/Summer Nordstrom Trendsetter Show. Who would have thought I would win anything. At first they thought I was a guy. (nope.. last time I looked I had other equipment in other places).
When we are born we have the softest most wonderful skin. Over time that lovely skin roughens due to sun damage, loss of elasticity and collagen. As we age our skin does not shed cells as fast, leading to a feeling of roughness and a look of sallow skin. Philosophy has a great system for beating that feeling. Their Microdelivery Peel ($45.00), leaves skin feeling just like a baby’s bottom. Yes, I am serious. Use it and you won’t be able to leave your hands off your face!
First, is the Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. This can be used daily. After taking the makeup off your eyes, use the wash to prep the skin. It has small beads that physically exfoliate the skin. Dry your face. Now comes the fun.
The Microdelivery Peel is the main focus of the kit. Use weekly. This kit has a combination of physical and chemical exfoliants that really get rid of the surface layers of the skin, making it as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
Step 1 of the Microdelivery Peel is the Vitamin C/Peptide Resurfacing Crystals. This is a thick, orange paste that you spread over your face and massage for up to a minute (or a little bit more if you want a really good exfoliation).
After this, use Step 2, the Lactic Acid/Salicylic Acid Activating Gel. Pour some in your hand then rub over the face. The gel will foam up and feel warm as it activates with the paste. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. Foam can also be massaged while waiting for extra exfoliation. Rinse off with warm water and dry skin. Now feel how soft and smooth skin is.
