M. Fredric’s Grand Opening in Plaza El Segundo Brings in Maroon 5’s Adam Levine!

Last week was a very busy week for me. I don’t know how or why but mix in a holiday with a store opening that brings in a rock star and life gets a little bit crazy.

If you read yesterday’s post about M. Fredric, here’s a bit more twist to the story and the store. The store also features a substantial range of menswear. It’s not just for the ladies guys, you can can find some great jeans, killer leather jackets, nifty shirts and great belts and hats.

While the store was definitely a worthwhile event to attend, there was an added draw that the PR for Plaza El Segundo knew would get my attention– music. Not just any music, but how about Maroon 5’s Adam Levine (the one on the radio, TV, videos, on tour, out and about).

I managed to snag the first (and perhaps the only) interview (not positive on that one) but Levine got caught up in traffic and lots of it — so he was pretty late through no fault but the 405.
However if read yesterday’s post and listened to the podcast the name Levine does reverberate into this story too– because Adam Levine’s family owns the M. Fredric store chain.

While there, friends and family where there getting photos with Levine and it was awesome to see him in an “non-fan” environment without a ton of screaming fans– not to say there weren’t fans outside. I will say this, when he walked in the store, he was dressed very low-key and you would never know he was a rock-star. Tennis shoes, 4 year old jeans, a chain from hanging from his jeans, a Harley Davidson sweatshirt and a cap pulled over his head. Extremely low-key.

Like I said– he was dressed low-key. If I look like I am abit out of it- it’s because there were 4 cameras rolling and I was looking at the wrong one. (sigh)

Here’s my “F&F” (fast and furious) –AKA SHORT– interview with Adam Levine. I think I got some interesting tidbits from him.Want some additional answers on Levine’s grooming and fitness routine? Check it out here, here here

Definitely you want to check out the store. The interesting part is that Adam wears a lot of their clothing– so if you want that kind of style the Levine sports, check out the store!

Thank you to M. Fredric owners, the Levine family, to the Plaza El Segundo staff and PR (M. Craig and Associates) who helped me get the interview and the photographer there for the center who introduced me to everyone to make all the interviews happen.
