Actually it’s anything but an informercial for the book. It happens to be because someone in PR pitched me the book– that I actually READ it.. (as I said in the video, it took me 3 months). I had talked to the authors for a podcast. Interestingly enough, while I had a vague understanding/awareness of Adam Lambert, I have never watched American Idol for longer than about 5 minutes. I don’t do “reality” tv as such. However, the opportunity to talk to people who are huge fans was an interview opp that I could not pass up. If someone had seen 5 shows before they showed up in Costa Mesa and would continue going for at least 4 more shows.. I wanted to talk to that person. What it’s about is how Adam Lambert has changed a lot of lives, perspectives and how people see and value themselves. It’s OK to be who you are. You don’t have to compromise who you are.
