It’s never too late to start taking care of your skin. Given that I had lots of sun exposure (read tanning) when I was a kid throughout college, it’s kind of crazy to think I am immune– and I found out in the last 2 years, I am NOT immune to skincancer. With one basel cell carcinoma and some pre-cancerous spots on my face (one in the middle of my cheek), I did everything I could to get rid of them from cutting them out to lasers. But every doctor I saw — and every dermatologist I have interviewed said the same thing: use sunscreen! So I do — every day of the year, even during winter.
