Beauty Breakdown: Kristen Stewart’s Polished Glam at LA Premiere of Twilight, Breaking Dawn Part 2

While the crowds at LA LIVE in downtown LA were waiting for the premiere for DAYS by camping out in tents (both tiny and large cushy affairs) in the LA Live Plaza, the wait of several days was worth it to see the Twilight cast walk the red carpet.

Kristen Stewart‘s look was stunning- polished yet glam all the better to show off the near see-through dress.

Inspired by her champagne dress, Jillian used warm gold tones on her eyes and a rich, berry shade on her lips.

“It was really about continuing the luminosity of her dress with shimmering makeup. I used iridescent shadow so the light would bounce off her eyes and contrasted bitten, almost stained lips with Kristen’s porcelain skin.”

Jillian used CHANEL Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 to even out Kristen’s skin tone. She then applied CHANEL Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer under the eyes and Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Natural Lighting Powder to set the makeup.

Jillian created barely-there flushed cheeks with CHANEL Powder Blush in In Love and kept the color focus on the lips for an overall glamorous look.

Eye Shadow:
Kristen’s eyes are naturally sparkling and Jillian used warm gold and shimmery taupe tones from the CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Spices to enhance the effect.

“I applied layers of shimmery taupe and gold all over the lid and then shaded in the crease with a deeper color.”

She applied CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Noir on Kristen’s upper and lower lash lines. Jillian smudged the shadow underneath the lower lashes to create a soft, hazy line on the bottom.

Mascara: Jillian created lush lashes starting with Tarte Lash Enhancing Primer and then applying several coats of Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir.

On the lips, a layer of CHANEL Rouge Coco Baume was applied to hydrate Kristen’s lips. Jillian then lined the lips with Laura Mercier Lip Liner in Crushed Berry and finished the look with CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet Lip Colour in La Sensuelle.

Nails by CHANEL Celebrity Manicurist Ashlie Johnson:

“For Kristen tonight we used CHANEL Limited Edition Nail Colour in Delight. We needed a gold to go with the dress and it was the perfect one!”

This is a GREAT look for holiday 2012.. and one that virtually anyone can duplicate. It’s simple, easy and works well for almost any skintone. If you are a “silver” girl, then switch to greys and silvers for the eyes!
