Hot New Cocktail Inspired by Live Read of Breaking Bad, Directed by Jason Reitman Event at LACMA and Served at Event!!

Los Angeles actually does have an abundance of museums. It’s not just in LA proper but all over Southen California.

Film Independent at LACMA
Writer-director Jason Reitman brings a special one-time only summer edition of his Live Read series to Film Independent at LACMA. Reitman’s series, which showcases a classic screen script read live on stage by a group of actors performing the material together for the very first time, will receive a singular twist in this July edition as they perform the pilot episode of Breaking Bad, written by Vince Gilligan.

In conjunction, Film Independent at LACMA is partnering with Patina Restaurant Group to create a themed RED pop-up dinner at the LACMA café before the event. RED dinners are gourmet, four-course, prix fixe meals created by executive Chef Jason Fullilove and inspired by the partnering event. The menu for the Live Read RED dinner was revealed in mid-July along with the announcement of the featured script.

  1. I think it was a smart idea to create a special drink for the last season of this series.. Now if they would just do one for Dexter (got some ideas for this) and BURN NOTICE.. that would be so awesome
