Sundance Beauty Breakdown: Elizabeth Banks Gets Gorgeous for Sundance with Juara Skincare

Sundance is used to snow and brutal temperatures for Sundance Film Festival events. For anyone dealing with brutal temperatures and finicky skin, here are tips on how to juggle both and still not break out but look gorgeous and soft.

Celebrity makeup artist Sonia Lee created the look for Elizabeth Banks at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival using JUARA skincare products.

“For Elizabeth’s look, we wanted to go with something bright and fresh.

I began by applying the JUARA Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner, an amazing oil-free, fragrance-free toner to remove any dirt and old makeup from the night before, while at the same time hydrating Elizabeth’s skin.

Then to moisturize her skin before applying makeup, I used the Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer by tapping it into her skin to make sure it absorbed. I made sure to apply the moisturizer on her ears and down her neck as well since they would be exposed to the cold. This moisturizer is great for holding makeup and kept her looking fresh all day.

Then for under her eyes, I used my ring finger and gently massaged Elizabeth’s eyes with the Sweet Black Tea Eye Crème for extra hydration.

After her skin absorbed most of the moisturizer, I applied foundation right on top while there was a little bit sitting on her skin still. Any foundation is good to use this way before using powder. Then, using a tissue, I blotted her face to take away any extra oil. Using a tissue ensures that you’re only taking away the oil and not stripping away the moisture or foundation.”
