Got Chocolate? Use ALL Chocolate Easter Eggs by Making This Cocktail! Video by Simone Caporale!

Happy Easter, Belated Passover, Happy Spring and let’s get this party started! Now that the Easter Bunny has come and gone, you have lots of Easter eggs! If they are regular boiled eggs, then you can make deviled eggs, potato salad or even mix it as a dip with some dried soup mix and sour cream or yogurt! Leftover eggs make a great garnish for green salads too.

Mostly the leftover eggs I have in my house are the Easter CHOCOLATE eggs and I don’t like that chocolate very much OR I bought too many great ones and realized that freezing isn’t the best way to save them. I found this video and thought it was a perfection opportunity to create an easy drink for this AM or afternoon if you want to get a little ahead of the game while clearing out the leftover Easter candy! This fun and fast video is from Simone Caporale (via Jamie Oliver Drinks ‘Tube)

I am not going to recommend a specific brand of vodka but I would recommend some flavored vodka: citron, raspberry, cherry, coconut, mango and maybe a caramel vodka.
Don’t stop there! Think about using other spirits!
Cognac: Camus makes a great one!
Tequila: Any good sipping tequila will work, but try Patron or something really good in a Reposado to make this one have a bit of bite but be very smooth
Rum: LOVE rum and chocolate! Try Bacardi in any of their fruiter flavors; Mount Gay, Ron Abuelo, Meyers or Matusalem will be amazing for any drink!
Whiskey: Pick your favorite bourbon and try it out. Various brands include Four Roses, Jack Daniels Honey and a slew more that are available at your local liquor or spirits store providing they are open.
Moonshine: Onyx and White Pike– both white moonshines that are pleasantly smooth and a distinctive kick!

Now if your local store isn’t open today, call a friend and ask them to bring over their Easter chocolate so that you can double the pleasure and share the spirits!

Happy Easter! Enjoy your Sunday and please drink responsibly!
