* Mini-review:
I have been using this product daily.. with and without regular lip liner. I find that it doesn’t hinder my application of lipcolor and it prevents my lip color and the gloss I often wear from migrating. It’s a sheer, no-color pencil and the pencil applicator makes it easy to apply and also to fake the look of larger lips by using it just outside your lip-line!

*Mini Review:
I love this product. Ok, that’s a first. I usually hate concealers because once they set, they either fall apart or they get dry and cakey. No bueno for any skin-type. I found that this concealer + illuminator is different. If you follow the instructions on the enclosed paper in the box, you will find lots of uses for this product! While this product is doing its job in hiding dark spots and circles to toning down red spots, decreasing the visibility of fine lines, it also illuminates the higher planes of the face to make your eyes pop, and your cheekbones appear from no-where. (*Ok you do have cheekbones but you want them to pop up and provide contours to your face! This product will do that and more.) Very easy to use, dial up a little and keep adding it as you go. It will dry if you dial up too much, hence the back of the hand suggestion earlier!) This product is less expensive than illuminator/highlighter and concealer products. When you realize that you are getting BOTH in this pen, you will love this!

While I was provided product to test out, it never affects my review of that product. I review products honest and effectively by using the product for a while then stopping the product and then returning to it to see if it delivers effective product actions. Getting product to sample is a key way to evaluate products. However it’s also a case of YMMV (your mileage may vary.)It is definitely a situation that everyone’s skin is unique to them. There are product you find to be fabulous that would not deliver the same results for me and vice versa. Caveat Emptor!
Happily these two products are very effective and worth the $$ you will pay. I am glad they are less expensive than many similar products.
