While this correspondent can be a real tiger at getting the story, he can be alternately aloof, cunning and stealthy to get to the meat of the matter. This correspondent is none other than 9Lives’ Morris the Cat — in real life!
As the world’s original “celebricat,” U.S. feline presidential candidate, and star of 50+ 9Lives cat food commercials over the past 45 years, Morris the Cat is no stranger to the limelight.
But now he’s gone where no Internet cat has gone before through a trending YouTube video series that has him head-bopping with some of the biggest SXSW influencers and brands.
Morris is working with Mastercard at SXSW to curate “elevator pitches” (see the scoop on Morris’ Facebook page.
To get a “cat’s eye view” of the latest technology and cultural trends at SXSW, humans and felines alike can watch Morris’ journey to Austin — the first in a series of videos filmed live at SXSW that will be released this week:

In this innovative video series, Morris will be interviewing Internet celebrities (like Pete Cashmore), interacting with major brands (like MasterCard), profiling SXSW events (like the Spotify concert stage), and more.
