I am always looking for a better car charger for my phone. I am tired of running out of juice along the way (particularly during Oscar week’s “pre-Oscars” events.) Not only is it frustrating but it means when I am driving home, I am typically with limited power and in case of emergency, I could be shut down fast! The two key points about the ZUS (pronounced like Zeus) device is that
1)It’s a super-speedy car-charger that detects the type of device to be charged and delivers the maximum charge in the least amount of time. AND, it will charge two devices at the same time. No worrying about if you can get a max charge from the charger- you can!
2) This charger has a special app for you to download to your phone that will turn the device into a locator beacon so that no matter where you park the car, you will be able to find it. The app is available for both iOS and Android!
REVIEW:
I had the opportunity to play with this device. It took me a bit of time to figure out that I didn’t KNOW how to get it to work. (You would think I would know, but there are always questions when dealing with a new device.). I talked to my contact from Nonda and she told me to download the app. It’s essential for the use of this car charger.
1) The car charger does charge pretty quickly. I am impressed! It does require your USB plug/device specific plug to work. If you don’t have an extra cord with plugs, buy another one and leave it in the car. I forgot mine last week when I was in LA for pre-Oscar events (You can guess what happened to the phone when I tried to text home to give them an update on my location!) Now that I have a power cord just for the car, I am ready to roll!
2) The app to help locate my car really helped a lot. Makes no difference the time of day but you do need to turn on the app to sync with the ZUS to get the app to work. Make sure your car is on when you try to do the sync otherwise it won’t work. The app did give me a good estimate how far away I parked and it was good to know that I didn’t go down the wrong street/aisle.
** You do need to look at the device as well as look for the car, so keep your eyes peeled and stay focused on not running into vehicles while you are walking towards your vehicle.
*** The video below (Video review from another blog) talks about when using the app on the smartphone to find your car, it speeds up the power loss. However the device is also a charger, just don’t forget your power cord!
4) ZUS is great at night. It provides a soft glow in your car which makes it useful when it’s pitch black outside.
5) The guarantee is outstanding and offers you a longer guarantee than any other car charger I have seen out there. Treat it well, be gentle and it will be there for you for practically forever!
6)Price is great: $35 roughly speaking. Buy more than one from the manufacturer and get a price break. They would make great gifts for Father’s Day, birthday and Christmas.

Both services, charger and finder are essential to live in LA..I like the idea. My own phone use is so minimal that I hardy need it, but I can see how you do. Now if I had to go to LA I would most certainly need the finder..
