Good Housekeeping Magazine Features NCIS Star Emily Wickersham !

I love watching all the different NCIS series. It’s a great collection of shows, but there have been changes in the various shows and now that Michael Weatherly is no longer with NCIS, the other actors and their respective characters are taking on a bit more visibility– particularly Emily Wickersham who plays Ellie Bishop! Lucky for us, Wickersham will be in the November issue of Good Housekeeping which was kind enough to share some of the interview (and amazing photos) with us!

Emily Wickersham, star of CBS’s hit series NCIS, aka the most heart-racing hour on TV this winter, bundles up in fall’s hottest trends in Jersey City for Good Housekeeping’s November issue, on newsstands October 18.

QUOTES
On if she’d ever want to play a ‘bad guy’ role on NCIS:

“Yeah, I would always want to play one of the bad guys. Bishop is a goody-goody, but it’s part of what I love about her character. It’s fun. I got to work on some stuff about my character’s divorce and kind of get more emotional, but generally she’s pretty uppity and goody-goody, which is also fun to play.”

On her character Ellie Bishop’s addiction (junk food) and if she can relate:

“Bishop is a big junk food eater and I can’t really relate. I’m generally pretty healthy when it comes to my food choices, but I do love chocolate. Desserts are a downfall for me.”

On who the cook in her house is:

“The cook in my house doesn’t exist. The cook exists in all the restaurants and my surrounding area. We do a lot of Postmates. I’m Postmates’s #1 customer.”

On her active Snapchat usage and her favorite filter:

“I do love Snapchat and my favorite filter is the bee. I like how the bee changes my voice. I feel very confident as a bee.”

On her hidden talents:

“I can throw a football pretty well. Perfect spiral. Just sayin’.”

On her bicoastal style—including no-longer secret favorite footwear (Birkenstocks):

“I’m originally from New York, and my style follows suit. Since I’ve lived in L.A., though, I feel like I’ve become a lot more casual. You can get away with wearing a T-shirt, jeans and Birkenstocks here…but don’t tell anyone I said that!”

Our appreciation to Good Housekeeping and Kaitie Ames of Hearst Magazines for sharing this content with us!
