Surprises Come in All Kinds of Shapes & Sizes: Banfi Centine Rose & an Easter Basket!

I was really surprised to get this bottle of wine sent to me. I thought maybe I had forgotten to cover this wine. Nope. I have no record of that it was being shipped to me, but it did arrive with a great Easter Basket full of all kinds of goodies.

The bottle is a Banfi  Centine Rose’ wine that is exquisite. Typically pale red/pink wines are too sweet for me or my husband. This wine is not sweet. It’s fabulous! It’s dry, tasty and a very easy sip!  I love it. I had to find out where I can buy more because this is the perfect sip for Easter Dinner or any weekend or spring/summer events. ( Yes, I know that the bottle is half -empty. My husband liked it a lot.)

Here’s where you can find stores near you that sell this amazing wine: http://locator.banfi-hq.com/WineLocator/Display.aspx

Turns out there are 5 stores in close proximity to me and more if I go a bit farther out. I will be heading to one of these stores this weekend to pick up a couple of bottles. This is going to be my favorite wine for this summer!

Here’s the rest of the cool gift: details on the Easter Basket:
easter-basket

This basket had plastic eggs full of Skittles, Reese’s mini Peanut Butter Cups, gourmet jelly beans, Ghiradelli’s Rabbit (which broke in transit), and lots of mini-Tootsie Pops in crazy-great flavors like tangerine, tropical and other great flavors.

Thank you to PR company who sent this to me. I LOVE it!
Disclosure: The Easter basket was clearly a gift. I have never tried the Banfi Centine Rose’- and it’s absolutely delish!

  1. I too was a rose snob, but many Euros insist that if one drinks wine in summer it must be white ..and especially rose. They convinced me to trey some very good ones that changed my mind about the genre. Sounds like this has just happened at your house. Cheers!!! Happy Easter!

  2. I loved this wine. I went hunting for more and found a few
European versions. Some were going to be sweet. I want the dry version!! But you are so right Pam!
