Don’t Miss The Pizza Press on Second St for Superb Pizzas + 14 Craft Brews on Tap! Grand Opening Party!

Do you love pizza? Do you prefer draft beer to bottled beer? If you answered yes to either question, then I have a great place for you to visit– and it’s going to be an eye-opener!

Personally,I love pizza. I love to ladle on my favorite toppings and make it more my own taste. There is nothing better than a draft beer- unless you have lots of draft beer choices! And when such a great place opens up in my favorite location -Second Street in Belmont Shore (a cult favorite beach area that has the reputation of still having the small beach town vibe,) I just have to go and I have to tell YOU about it.

To celebrate the opening on August 24, The Pizza Press will host a Great Pizza Giveaway, offering a free pizza with the purchase of a beverage, to thousands of people who have previously signed up on their website to receive, print and present a voucher for the free pizza. Those who live and work in the area can sign up to receive the voucher at www.thepizzapress.com/GPG. The giveaway will be from 11 am to midnight on Thursday, August 24.

Pizza-Salad-and-Beer-Fight-

In keeping with the newspaper theme, customers at The Pizza Press are invited to “publish” their own pizza by choosing from an extensive selection of fresh, high-quality toppings, cheese and sauces. In addition to creating a custom pizza which is “hot off the press” in under four minutes, customers can choose from signature pizzas including:

The Times (extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella, chicken, grape tomato, red onion, smoked gouda, and finished with fresh cilantro and Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce),

The-Sun-from-The-Pizza-Pres

The Tribune (red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, red onion, mushroom, roasted red bell peppers, sweet Italian link sausage, Kalamata olives and ricotta),

The Chronicle (extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella, imported artichoke hearts, grape tomato, red onion, crimini mushroom, chevre, roasted red bell peppers, and finished with fresh basil and basil pesto) and others.

PS: They have a gluten-free crust too!

The Pizza Press in Belmont Shore will also open with The Bulletin, a seasonal pizza launching at all locations on July 18.
Available through August, The Bulletin has smoked pulled pork with olive oil, caramelized onions, mozzarella, cheddar, gouda and finished with tangy coleslaw and Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce.

Greek-Arugula-Salad-at-The-

In addition to the signature salads The Pizza Press always offers, a Greek Arugula Salad was introduced for summer. The salad has arugula, grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, red onion, green peppers, Kalamata olives, feta cheese and is topped with Greek dressing.

Ice-Cream-Sandwiches

Diners can also enjoy a selection of custom or grab-and-go salads and tempting desserts such as fresh-baked cookies, custom ice cream sandwiches, ice cream floats, tiramisu and other seasonal treats. (Can you tell what’s really important here?)

The Pizza Press is a veritable dining bonanza because there are so many choices that you can customize, or buy things right from the menu.

Custom pizzas may grab the headlines at The Pizza Press, but the carefully curated assortment of local craft beer on tap is also newsworthy. The new Belmont Shore location will have 14 taps with a rotating selection of local craft beer, as well as serving two varietals of wine, Stumptown Cold Brew Coffee, and Virgil’s sodas.

Taps-of-Craft-Beer

This could become your favorite place to meet up for a quick meal that lasts a little longer than you expect or an amazing place to bring the kids after a weekend of sports.

“We are excited to introduce The Pizza Press to Long Beach,” said franchise owner Yogi Patel, who also owns The Pizza Press in downtown Huntington Beach. “We know this is a great fit for the area and look forward to becoming an integral part of the community, from supporting local schools and charities, to meeting those who live and work nearby, and will regularly come to enjoy our great pizza, craft beer and fun atmosphere.”

The Pizza Press will be open from 11 am to 12 midnight daily.
The restaurant is located at 5242 E. 2nd Street in Long Beach (between Corona and Covina Ave.,next door to Peet’s Coffee) with a very convenient metered parking lot behind the restaurant, as well as metered street parking. The restaurant can be reached at 562.434.0334.
