Celebrity Hairstylist Tommy Buckett Gives Us the Breakdown for Elisabeth Moss’s Great Hairstyle!

At the 76th Annual Golden Globes Awards on Sunday evening, celebrity hairstylist Tommy Buckett sent best actress in a television series (drama) nominee Elisabeth Moss down the red carpet in a side-parted, loose ponytail look created using Leonor Greyl and Dyson products.

“I wanted to give her a really shiny, brushed-out, loose ponytail that had a really cool, French girl vibe to it, but still looked really expensive and polished to complement her short, navy blue Dior dress.”

–Buckett started by washing Moss’s hair with the Leonor Greyl Shampooing au Miel and Leonor Greyl Masque Fleurs de Jasmin.
–He emulsified a golf-ball-size dollop of the Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice in his hand and raked it through her damp hair from roots to ends to add as much volume as possible before putting a tiny amount of the Leonor Greyl Tonique Hydratant on just the ends.

–Then he blow-dried Moss’s hair with a round brush and used the Dyson Supersonic Professional edition hair dryer on the second speed setting.

“I used the smoothing nozzle attachment on the dryer because the wider nozzle allowed more air in,” he adds.

Next, Buckett pin-curled the front of Moss’s hair for even more volume. He set the curls by blasting them on high heat with the Dyson dryer, using the diffuser attachment.

“Then all I did was do a really deep side part on her left side. I used a rat-tail comb to get a really nice, straight part and used the highest point of her eyebrow as a guide for where it should be.” He then sprayed a small amount of the Leonor Greyl Huile Secret de Beauté oil in his hand and applied it only on the ends before brushing it all back with a boar-bristle brush, tucking it behind her ear and securing it with an elastic. For an effortless feel, “I let the front pieces just kind of hang out,” he says.

To finish the look, Buckett wrapped the elastic with a piece of hair, secured it with bobby pins and spritzed the entire style with the Leonor Greyl Laque Souple hairspray.
