In preparation for National Coffee Day which is on Sunday, I am sharing some recipes with you. If you are based in Los Angeles, you can head over to either restaurant and sip the respective cocktails made in their bar. Otherwise, buy the ingredients as well as some really good espresso coffee (Dragonfly Coffee is amazing. The Espresso Crema Dolce is essential for this recipe.) to make this cocktail really something special!
Norah Restaurant has this amazing Espresso martini!
Espressotini:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz of vodka
1 1/2 oz of burnt orange espresso cordial (grilled oranges steeped in espresso and sugar)
1/2 oz of Amaro Cio Ciaro
Method:
Pour each ingredient into a shaker filled with ice.
Shake well for about 30 seconds.
Strain into a coupe or martini glass.

JALISCO CAFE
Ingredients:
don julio tequila
mr black coffee liqueur
Godiva dark chocolate liqueur
Bailey’s irish cream
One shot of espresso (Try Dragonfly Coffee Espresso Crema Dolce! It’s divine!)
Method:
Use equal parts of each ingredient and stir well and pour into coupe glass!

Coffee Mint Julep

This coffee drink (could be a cocktail with the addition of a shot of bourbon) is made with Dragonfly Coffee’s Espresso Crema Dolce— with sweet notes in this coffee, it’s sure to please everyone!
Ingredients:
3 sprigs of mint
1/2oz simple syrup
2 oz DragonFly Espresso Crema Dolce
Method:
Stir over ice in high ball glass
Fill with sparkling water
Garnish with mint leaves
Stir to mix and enjoy!
NOTE:
For an alcoholic version, add 1 oz bourbon!
