I love featuring cocktails when I can snag some interesting spirits or a great mixologist. I am thrilled to be able to do both in this post– because Mixologist Jonathan Pogash has put his unique spin on the following 3 cocktails!
Pulteney By The Sea

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Old Pulteney 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt
1/2 oz. fino sherry
1 oz. apple cider
1/2 oz. honey syrup (equal parts honey and water dissolved)
Method:
Shake ingredients very well with ice and strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with an apple slice on the rim of the glass.
Sir William Smash

Ingredients:
2 oz. Old Pulteney 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz. simple syrup
4 blackberries*
Method:
Muddle berries in lemon juice and simple syrup.
Add whiskey, ice and shake well.
Strain over ice into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a mint sprig.
*if not in season you can use thawed frozen blackberries or choose a favorite seasonal berry
The French Rose
(batch drink – serves approx. 20)

Ingredients:
In a large pitcher or beverage dispenser, add:
1 bottle Champagne Palmer & Co Brut Réserve NV
1 bottle Caorunn Gin
1 cup Monin rose syrup
2 cups fresh lemon juice
2 small bottles Fever Tree tonic|
Fresh berries and rosemary sprigs
Method:
Add all ingredients to a large container, seal tightly and refrigerate until ready to use.
When ready, add ice to the container and stir very well to dilute.
Pour into wine or punch glasses.
Garnish with fresh berries floating on top and a rosemary sprig.
