“Father’s Day Confessions”- Do Americans Know What to Buy Dads?

I don’t know who’s harder to shop for: Moms or  Dads! I have problems with both. I do try hard (as in REALLY hard ) to get the right gift or to surprise someone with a unique gift. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it’s a huge FAIL!

I got an email TODAY from a person who had done a slew of research about Father’s Day gifts!  CouponLawn.com’s  Michael Lewis (editor-in-chief) and John  F. Howard (founder)  did some serious heavy lifting to find out what fathers really don’t want for Father’s Day!  Here is the article: ” Father’s Day Confessions”  courtesy of John Howard, Michael Lewi,s and team! It’s worth the read!

Father’s Day Confessions:

Do Americans Actually Understand Dads?

On June 1, we surveyed 1020 fathers in the U.S to ask about their most unwanted gifts on Father’s Day (June 21). Combined with NRF’s data, we came up with a formula to calculate exactly how much money Americans have wasted on these unwanted gifts.

Here are our results:

John grew up in a poor suburb in Delaware. His parents got divorced when he was eleven. Together with his mom, they had to grind their way to survive.

“A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned” … these were the exact words her mother taught him growing up. He learned the value of managing time and money and took  Business Administration at the University of Delaware.  He was a successful business consultant at an IT company in Wilmington, Delaware before he decided to give life to CouponLawn.com.

LA-Story.com would like to thank CouponLawn.com’s John Howard for sharing this very informative infographic with us and all the details!

I think this report shares some very interesting findings.
