Rock Your July 4 Holiday with these Great Cocktails from Clos du Bois, Van Gogh, Truly Spiked!

FABULOUS cocktails that you can mix up that are perfect party fare as well as the ideal summer cocktail. This is a collection of some of my FAVORITE summer cocktails. The watermelon one will serve many people.. so if you are feeling like doing a “social distancing” and  “mask required” BBQ or party, this would be the  PUNCH to try!
Other cocktails featured include Van Gogh Vodka and Truly Spiked  Beverages!!

 

Clos du Bois Wine

Clos du Bois Watermelon Wine Spritz

Ingredients:
· Clos du Bois Chardonnay (chilled)

· 2 cups sweet and seedless watermelon (chilled)

· 1 tablespoon simple syrup

· Club soda

· Mint

Directions:
Combine watermelon chunks and simple syrup in a blender (use hands and mash for a thicker consistency).
Pour the watermelon juice in a double rocks tumbler or wine glass, filled a quarter way.
Add ice cubes.Fill the rest of the glass with Clos du Bois Chardonnay.
Top off with a splash of club soda and garnish with mint.

Van Gogh Vodka!

Berry Snow Cone

 

Boozy-Berry-Snow-Cone

 

Ingredients:
2 oz. Van Gogh Açaí-Blueberry, chilled
4 oz. pink lemonade, chilled
1 cup of ice

Method:

Add chilled vodka and lemonade to a mixing glass, stir and set aside.
Blend ice cubes in a blender until desired snow-like consistency, then scoop into a glass or white container.
Top with chilled Van Gogh Açaí-Blueberry and lemonade mixture,
Garnish with red berries.

 

 

…Or show your colors with a red, white and blue spiked lemonade….

Spiked Lemonade

Red,-White-Blue-Vodka-Lemon

Ingredients:
1/2 oz. grenadine
1/2 oz. blue curaçao
1/2 oz. lemonade
1-1/2 oz. Van Gogh Vodka

Crushed ice

Method:
Combine crushed ice with grenadine and 1/2 ounce Van Gogh Vodka, add to the bottom of a highball glass.
Combine crushed ice with lemonade and 1/2 ounce Van Gogh Vodka and place in glass on top of red layer.
Combine crushed ice with blue curaçao and remaining 1/2 ounce of Van Gogh Vodka and place in glass on top of the white layer.
Garnish with floating blueberries and a mint sprig.

 

From Truly Spiked!

 

Truly Bitter

Ingredients:
5 oz. Truly Spiked & Sparkling Grapefruit & Pomelo
½ oz. Campari
½ oz. Cointreau
Juice from 1 lemon or orange wedge
Orange or grapefruit wedge or twist for garnish

Method:
Combine ½ oz. Campari, ½ oz. Cointreau and juice from 1 lemon or orange wedge in a rocks glass over single large ice cube.
Top off with Truly Spiked & Sparkling Grapefruit & Pomelo.
Add orange or grapefruit wedge or twist for garnish.
NOTE:
Use gin instead of Cointreau for a cool spin on a classic Negroni

 

 

Truly Sangria

Ingredients:
6 oz. Truly Spiked & Sparkling Pomegranate
2 oz. Red wine
1 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Raspberry flavoring
Assorted citrus (oranges, etc.) and berries (raspberries, etc.)
Squeeze of orange and lime wedges

Method:
In advance, soak fruit in brandy.
Combine 6 oz. Truly Spiked & Sparkling Pomegranate and 2 oz. red wine in a red wine glass over ice and brandy-soaked fruit
Garnish with orange slice
NOTE: To make batch sangria, use 3:1 ratio of Truly to red wine.

 

 

Truly Moscow Mule

Ingredients:
6 oz. TrulySpiked & Sparkling Colima Lime
1 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Ginger beer
Fresh squeezed lime
Lime slices for garnish

Method:
Combine 1 oz. vodka juice, 2 oz ginger beer, and lime juice in a copper mug over ice.
Top off with Truly Spiked & Sparkling Colima Lime
Add lime wedge for garnish.
