Get the Best of Halloween with These Great Sips from Humboldt and La Adelita!!

Halloween is approaching FAST.. and I am going to share cocktails with you Every. Single. Day! I might feature just a couple of great cocktails or more as we get closer to the spooky holiday. Today I am featuring Humboldt’s Toad in a Blender cocktail recipe. (Sounds pretty weird, right? It tastes and looks much better than the name!)

Toad in the Blender Cocktail:

Ingredients:
+ 1.5oz Humboldt Organic Vodka
+ .5oz organic jalapeño syrup
+ 2 organic lime rounds
+ 4oz cranberry
+ 1 cup ice

Method:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse for 3-5 seconds.
Pour into glassware and serve immediately.

Vampire Ritual

Shiso BOO-zy

Ingredients:

1.5 shots of  La Adelita Tequila Blanco,
1 shot of pineapple juice,
a 1/2 teaspooon of yuzu
a couple of squeezes of lemon,
a splash of agave,
a whipped egg white,
Muddled basil leaves, shiso leaves, edible flower, wasabi

Method:
Do the muddling of the leaves first then blend in the whipped egg white.
Mix gently till everything is green.
Add ice to a shaker and add in the  tequila, pineapple juice, yuzu juice, and the agave. S
Shake well, then pour into the glass, add a splash of agave and stir gently,
Top the cocktail with the green muddled egg white.

 Deadly Spice

Ingredients:
1 shot of La Adelita Tequila Blanco,
2-3 shots of passion fruit puree,
1/2 shot of St. Germain,
a splash of agave
a splash of lime juice,
a couple of jalapeños or jalapeno slices,
a couple of bruised cilantro leaves,
a pinch of tajin
You can also rim the glass with the Tanjin

Soul Taker

Ingredients:

1 shot of La Adelita Tequila Reposado,
1 splash of Del Maguey Mezcal Vida,
1/2 spoonful of demerara syrup,
a splash of orange bitters,
a splash of Angostura bitters,
and a fresh twist of orange peel around the rim and drop it into the gglass!
